I got Nick and I both registered for #BiSC this morning. I could NOT be more excited!
Last year was my first experience in Bloggers In Sin City and it was truly a life changing experience. It was a big leap for me and so far out of my comfort zone. I debated for WEEKS before registering. I’d never met any of the people going and was terribly afraid that I’d end up feeling like the “awkward kid eating alone in the lunch room” on the trip. I could NOT have been further off the mark on that.
Since I didn’t know anyone, I entered the roommate lottery and lucked up. Kaci was an awesome roommate and our honorary roommate Caryn generously taught me to play black jack. I met too many people to call everyone out by name but eight months later I’m friends with people I met on this trip even though we’ve only met up in person once or twice (for the 20 Something Blogger Summit in Chicago).
Not only did I meet awesome people, but the organizer Nicole did an incredible job of making sure the weekend was full of fun things to do like pool side parties at the amazing Flamingo Pool, tasting red velvet martinis at Sugar Factory and stage front seating to Absinthe.
Everyone who attended received a swag bag full of goodies from amazing sponsors. Full sized bottles of Skyy Vodka, Party Relief Spray from Sprayology and Pop Chips are some of the amazing sponsors that stand out in my mind from last’s year’s gift bags.
This year’s event is going to be even better!
Presented by Paper’d (the AH-MAZ-ING new wall paper app coming to the iPhone next month), Bloggers in Sin City 2012 is shaping up to be the best #BiSC yet. All 60 of the attendees are headed back to the fabulous Flamingo Go Rooms for a weekend of crazy adventures including a private dessert tasting at Serendipity 3 and tickets to see Zumanity. The tickets were ON FIRE this morning when registration opened and 43 of the 60 spots sold out in less than an hour. Only 17 spots remain so if you’re on the fence about getting a ticket to this even you need to get registered ASAP.
